Artists Unite Against Fracking

On July 13, artists banded together to announce, a coalition of celebrities against the hydraulic fracturing of natural resources.

The organization launched its campaign on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, where Yoko Ono and Sean Lennon showcased a protest song about fracking that is based off of Bob Dylan's "The Times They Are A-Changin'."

“When the companies showed up in upstate New York, it sort of like propelled us, it was like a fire under the tush and we suddenly felt we had to do something," said Lennon to Fallon.

The website features fast facts about natural gas extraction, as well as resources to protest the practice.
